|Ingredients||3 cups chopped onions
1 tbsp. chopped garlic
1 tbsp. chopped fresh ginger
1/2 cup butter
chopped green chili to taste
2 roma tomatoes, skinned and chopped
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp curry powder ( or your preference)
2 cups tomato sauce
16 chicken thighs
3 cups whipping cream
handful of chopped fresh cilantro for garnish
|Instructions||Combine first 5 ingredients in a large dutch oven.
Cook over medium heat until golden. Add tomatoes and cook until loose and soft.
Add salt and curry powder. Cook one minute. Add tomato sauce, bring to boil and reduce to simmer.
Add chicken pieces, bring sauce back to simmer,and cook 10 minutes.
Add cream and simmer for 30 minutes, until chicken is tender and sauce smells very fragrant.
Remove from heat and serve garnished with chopped cilantro.
